Hi! Like I said looking at the Newbie Guide and reading the entire site is a huge help, your question is already answered there!
I'm not sure if anyone has answered you by now, but the Geno IS your dinosaur. You now need to design your dinosaur! Buying dinosaurs from other players etc is also an option. I would start with designing this dinosaur first and submitting it to get it accepted as an import, then using it to learn how the game plays.
