It was a dark night with the island quiet and most dinosaurs laid down to rest from the long day, but others were on the prowl as three figures moved through the darkness whispering to one another with the two in the front being utahraptors and the last figure being much shorter and tout. The three were off to explore the abandoned buildings in the city as Scyth3 who lead the group of misfits wanted to see what spooky things it had to offer for the three as S0nya wasn’t to keen along with Gauge who struggled to keep up with his short legs letting out a annoyed chuff as the group caught up to each other crouching by a scuffed up house as the brick and outside rotted away to its age.

“Scyth3 are you sure we should be going into here we don’t know enough about the above world yet there could be bad things around” the light feathered utahraptor who went by the name of s0nya as she scratched her claws against her chest nervously, as she waited for Gauge to catch up as she gave a soft smile to their short friend who wasn’t keen on exploring deeper. But the lead of the group Scyth3 had other plans for them as he was keen on exploring further regardless if it was creepy or not.

“Oh come on it can’t be that bad besides we always can get out of trouble, it can’t be any worse then what was down in the labs” Scyth3 had said with a small chuckle as he moved forwards dashing into a abandoned house that smelt of old dust and had been overtaken by the rapid plant life, with Gauge and s0nya not to far behind them as they also headed into the old house with s0nya letting out a shriek when she saw spiders crawl across the floor which Gauge just chuffed out a sigh before sniffing the ground as the three explored further.

The three being lab kids they weren’t familiar with what the topside world had to offer and were still learning after recently just leaving the labs so things were a lot different up here compared to the depths below, along with it being the spooky season they were just learning from afar from over hearing others, the spooky season brought other critter ones that could fly and didn’t like when intruders came into their cave but for now they were safe. The further they went in, Scyth3 picked up various items to inspect as they looked around, making noise that was a disturbance to the critters that called this house their home.

“Look I told you there is nothing in here, it's just a old building that once had life but it seems to be empty” Scyth3 said with a chuckle as he looked at s0nya who was trying her best to stick close as her feathered body was puffed up due to being on edge , giving Scyth3 a annoyed look before she looked to Gauge who also was having no problem exploring and didn’t seem to be bugged by the creepiness of the place.

It was dark and watching where they stepped was a task making sure not to break anything or fall, as most of the house was filled with random and old objects, as the sound of wings moving could be heard from upstairs as movement was beginning to happen and it wasn’t from the three of them as they stood in the hallway looking up the stairs that seemed to look pitch black which was odd.

“We should go back Scyth3 I don’t like the feeling this place is giving me, I think something is watching us it feels Odd” s0nya said before looking back behind them, as she stopped when she saw Gauge who was pinpointed at looking at the stairs above them as he growled sensing something was around that he didn’t like before he spoke.

“I think something is in here with us, we should leave Scyth3 now” he said before backing up with s0nya who was now more keen on leaving then she was before. With Scyth3 now picking up on the being watched as the three began to back up with the dark spot in the stairwell moving as many red eyes glew, and the flapping of wings as a flurry of bats wooshed from the spot and began attacking the three as they dove out of the way.

“ I told you this was a bad idea Scyth3, let’s get out of here now” the female raptor said as Gauge was quick to follow the two making out and to catch their breath watching as millions of bats flew off into the night.

“Where’s Scyth3 did he make it out?” Said Gauge before looking around to not seeing him but hearing a loud crash as a shriek of fear came from Scyth3 who had run out and was still being harassed by the flying creatures.

“ They are biting me, get them off!!” He said before the bats flew off following the large group as s0nya and Gauge were laughing at him.

“Haha look at him, he's scared! That was way to close we should just stick to staying out of places” the two said as the laughed heading off from where they came from with Scyth3 quickly catching up and trying to talk to

But all they could do was laugh at him, with an annoyed sigh he joined them and the group was off after their spook from a colony of bats.

Maybe sticking to what they new was best and staying out of spooky spots as they might be taken over by bats, but at least it was fun but that was a first,
