Well, Fitz didn't want to be here.

The striped, brown raptor wasn't searching for Mary out of his desire for some semblance of self preservation and yet here he was standing just outside a massive mansion. His feathers clung to him and the wind blew sharp, he could barely see the building through the dense, heavy rain. He had been caught in a bad thunderstorm, the clouds dark and heavy over him and the rain drowning everything around it. His only saving grace was it was not dropping stones of ice from the sky.

Suddenly a bolt of lightning split from the sky and struck the mansion in front of him, lighting up it's face and nearly deafening him with a crack of thunder. The Utahraptor about jumped out of his feathers  and he scrambled inside as pieces of facade fell off the mansion to the sopping wet ground below.

The inside of the mansion immediately opened up to a large foyer built around a central grand staircase. This foyer was massive, with it's ceilings elevated  far above the stairs with the top being painted in some sort of scene, the paint now faded,  and a huge crystal chandelier hanging from above. This grand staircase rose up to a landing for the first floor before splitting and wrapping around to the left and right walls to rise up to the second floor. Fitz honestly didn't know where to start to look for this Mary figure and he still didn't want to. The raptor giving himself a good shake from head to toe to try to rid himself of some of the accumulated water on his feathers. Mary was said to be some sort of Parasaurolophus so that meant she was big.. and she was heavy. He didn't know if Mary would go upstairs to the top of this massive mansion or if she would stay on the lower levels. He decided he'd stay low and check the ground floor first and foremost, if anything I could stay down here until the terrible weather moved on. To the left and to the right were doorways leading to other parts of this floor, he would choose to go left.

Through this doorway the building opened up into another large room, this meant to be a huge guest area. This room was wide open with marble pillars lining it, the ceiling was raised with ornate designing  made of alternating blocks of different sizes, the ceiling of each block a different painted scene. To the other side of this otherwise empty room was a dining area with a kitchen and staff quarters attached. Across from that area was a bathroom area.  Fitz paused, clicking his claws on the floor as he debating moving forward. There was not much for cover here. Slowly he'd move forward, crossing the empty room and walking past the dining room. "Mary...Mary...Mary... " He'd mumble to himself, unaware that when the lightning flashed there was a figure in the dining room to his right. The figure was backlit, near black eyes looking at him. The figure was a Parasaurolophus like what he was looking for. She was scruffy, her deep volcanic red lacing mixed with hard pink scutes, white brindling and a light fade on top of a haze of pink made her to look like a slab of meat, or even a creature drenched in blood.  She was surprisingly quiet as she settled on all fours and stalked after him slowly, rounding past the dining room table and it's plethora of chairs. Fitz didn't hear her behind him, a combination of the pounding rain and his footsteps on broke plaster and paint chips. The Utahraptor did check the kitchen area briefly, deeming it empty, and he didn't bother with the restroom area. On the other side of the series of rooms was what looked to be a game room area. Here there were pool tables, poker table, some weird games that Fitz didn't recognize, shuffleboard, and other variety items. The ceiling was copper embossed and used to be lined with neon lights however some have fallen down. At the back was a stage. He started up the stairs, wondering if he could hide out in the back room until the weather passed. He poked his head past the tattered old curtains, moth eaten and mildewy, and he took a look around.. it was honestly perfect.  One last peek behind him to make sure he was alone- and he was not alone!

Fitz shrieked as he took notice of the massive red Parasaurolophus right behind him. She was reared up on her hind legs, ready to bring pale hooves down onto him. He quickly turned and ran to the side, jumping off of the stage as her hooves crashed into the wood. She was quick to give chase. The raptor jumped onto a shuffleboard table, intending to take a short cut around but luck wasn't on his side, his foot found a disc and Fitz found himself slipping and crashing down. In a flail of feathers Fitz managed to roll out of the way just in time as Mary brought her hooves down on the shuffleboard table and cracked it into pieces. The table fell to the floor and so did Fitz.  He didn't get the chance to get back up for Mary was soon rushing forward and driving her head into his midsection, easily knocking the raptor off of the pieces of table and across the floor into the nearby pool table. Fitz scrambled, slipping as he tried to quickly get himself to his feet as Mary again charged forward at him. She completely ignored the debris of the shuffleboard table as she stomped through it, it barely bothering her size. Luckily this time the raptor managed to get to his feet and he started to run but didn't get enough momentum to escape before she was biting his tail and literally dragging him back. His claws scraped against the tiled floor below him as he tried to stop her from dragging him to who knows where, the raptor crying out.

He wasn't going to win that battle of strength and soon enough he was twisting around to try to jump at her within the length of his tail. The raptor swiped Mary with his claws, trying to dig into her with the sharp weapons and snap at her with his sharp teeth. It worked that time at least, she let go of him and he of course fell to the floor before he could get his feet under him.  She let out a bellow and he scrambled to his feet again, this time being proactive and jumping on top of her to ride her like a rodeo cow.  She thrashed and bucked and spun and soon was falling back to crash through the poker table. Fitz let go a blink before the smash and he whined out as he was sent tumbling across the floor.  Now she had to get back to all fours and he was cowering in a corner by another pool table. The raptor kicked off of the table and pushed himself across the floor, using the momentum to get to his feet as he quickly tried running away again. Mary was hot on his tail but luckily wasn't able to grab him again and he was soon tearing through the big empty room with the pillars and running for the door that lead outside. He was able to lunge out of the mansion with no real issue, Mary however crashed clumsily into the doorframe, knocking part of it off of the doorway as she snarled and horned after him.

He, however, took off into the weeds and the torrential rain and disappeared.
