Quick movements and dashes that’s what it took to be a utahraptor least that’s what Cresselia thought when she was younger, knowing if you weren’t quick meant you were nothing and being in a pack you had to be at the top of your game that’s if she ever would meet another of her kind. Cresselia mumbled to herself as she was out exploring further up on the levels of the alpha labs never knowing what the outside world had to offer at least for now.

The upper levels weren’t as bad as the much lower dark and grim levels of the lab where she had been born but the now young adult utahraptor had overheard others talking about how the large metal doors had opened and the smell of a fresh breeze and life filled the upper floors of the labs meaning that there was a way out of the nightmarish world she had grown up in. Making her way through the various floors as she was curious to see if the rumors were true, little did she know that going up there would have a life changing effect on her. 

“I swear if I traveled all this way for those metal doors to be shut I’m going to be so mad” Cressiela growled to herself as she walked across old beams that hung over floors that spotted deep dark holes. She had now found herself in the greenhouse area of the labs full of overgrown plant life that found its way choking the metal structures almost as she made her way through the thick foliage that covered the floor, knowing she had to be careful of the herbivores that called this place their home they were aggressive and typically traveled in herds but they seemed to be more docile today as she watched from the shadows keeping herself hidden.

She was getting closer to the upper leaves as she made her way outside the greenhouse area soon to find herself in the upper lab floors that were clear and just full of dust but held her curiosity while she moved through the old items taking a look at trinkets and odd objects. She had never been up here like this so all of it was new but something was different in the air. It was a scent and she couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from, which made her stand on edge as she lowered herself to the ground.

“What’s that smell it seems different nothing I have smelt down here before” she whispered to herself as her eyes widened to take everything in around her more keenly. Peering eyes watched Cresselia staying hidden as she stalked the young adult utahraptor, her jaws and claws at the ready to strike but this figure was curious and wasn’t’ aiming to attack right off the bat she was watching carefully.

As Cresselia shook of the feeling she sighed before coming to a long dark hallway that had a large doorway at the end  that had light shining into it, she was close to the outside world but just as she was going to take another step forwards she felt the presence of another dinosaur and was quickly pushed to the ground and everything went black for a few moments, after awhile Cresselia came too again seeing the toothy grin from another raptor that had black and white scales with cold eyes.

“Well well well looks like your awake , What’s your name” Soul a large female utahraptor who had finally jumped on Cresselia after she has stalked the young utahraptor for awhile, “What is this place and why are the metal door’s open now” she said coldly letting Cresselia up but being on guard.

“It’s Cresselia , why did you attack me are you another utahraptor” the young raptor said looking at Soul with curiosity as she was overjoyed to see another one of her kind even if she attacked her, which threw Soul off about the newcomer but she wasn’t entirely thrown off. 

“Oh this is the labs, are you from the outside world?” Cresselia said happily before looking around and past Soul who looked outside behind her,  “Yeah I am from the outside world… the doors have always been shut down here” Soul said before looking Cresselia up and down studying her, her scales were a deep purple which had Soul interested “Have you never met another utahraptor?” 

“No, this is the first time! And I would love to go to the outside world, this place is starting to get harsher by the second. Can you show me?” Cresselia said before approaching Soul with a grin, awaiting an answer as she was over excited to finally find another one of her kind and one from the outside world. Soul nodded and walked around Cresselia before letting out a sigh and growling slightly.

“How about we make a deal and you can show me the labs and I can show you the outside world, it seems fair don’t you think” Soul said pulling the young utah close to her as she was curious about where she had come from and the least she could do was show her around her outside world in return, and maybe show her some others of her kind, with Cresselia nodding and walking beside Soul as they headed towards the light as the smell and the breeze hit her snout.

“I can do that, it seems like a fair thing to do” Cresselia said before feeling the crunch of grass under her claws as she was flashed by the blue sky and sun which made her squint as she tried to get used to it, the heat on her scales traveling up her body. She had finally entered the outside world and everything was full of life, it was nothing like the labs.

“Well what are you waiting for this way” Soul said before walking ahead as Cresselia took one last look at the lab door before nodding and catching up to her new acquaintance, she was on a new adventure now luckily enough she crossed paths with Soul.
