It was cold, the air froze with each breath that left the lungs of everything, now with the temperature drop on the island the Alpha labs were nothing but cold with the large metal door that kept the dark secrets down deep and was now wide open with snow blocking the door from closing. Large footsteps left in the snow lead down the dark hallways as metal that was once clear had ice hanging from it, it was normal for this time of year as the snow blew in with harsh temperatures and the big festivities were about to start in due time but not all dinosaurs shared the same heart felt ideas some were out to deal with things from their past and three acrocanthosaurus had other ideas then to be festive. Deep in the Alpha labs the group was being led by a dark green acro who spotted a old tracker collar and a missing eye, following behind her were two large sibling acro’s who went by Specimen 5284 & Specimen 5283. 

The group was moving through the cold floors letting out breathes as they sniffed around for the hunt of something important and that was what hid below in the deep dark of the Alpha labs and he went by the name of Nidhogg the monster of the deep, the group was ready and had plans to deliver their own gift to the large predatory acro who bared the glow of a demon.

“I smell it, it’s this way come you two…” Harsh words came from Geiger’s jaws as she growled stopping in the hallway that led down to the deeper levels of the labs as she waited for Specimen 5284 and Specimen 5283 to catch up to her the one being armoured and the other spotting large horns and spikes that went down her body. It had been awhile since the three had seen the horror of Nidhogg but it was seared into their memories and growing in the labs itself wasn’t the easiest task, Nidhogg just made it much harsher and it definitely wasn’t going to be a happy reunion.

“I wonder where the large beast is hiding this time, he tends to get around easy and it isn’t making it hard with all the frost down here Geiger” Specimen 5284 said as she spoke up joining Geiger who started her descent deeper into the labs getting closer to the territory and domain of Nidhogg, her much larger brother pushing past her with his armoured shell that covered his back before giving off a hiss of annoyance before he joined in behind Geiger “he Probably hasn’t moved that ugly face of his for awhile thing doesn’t stop eating, but let's go deeper and get this over with” Specimen 5283 said before the group descended to the deeper levels with it now being much darker and more frost build up.

Geiger led the group as she sniffed letting out a low growl the memories flooding back to her as she took in the alpha labs surroundings the snow clinging to their scales as they were now in the deep labs where Nidhogg called home with red flood lights that dimly lit the area making it harsher to see but the three of them were no strangers to darkness and with that the siblings took the led incase things were to get to crazy but they weren’t worried as there wasn’t much down here that would take on full grown acro’s so the group was covered pretty well.

“Well it seems we are here, lets go deeper with you two in the front, and I’ll watch the back” Geiger growled before following behind Specimen 5284 & 5283 who were eager to run into Nidhogg sooner rather than later, and with their presence Nidhogg was aware of intruders into his domain, deep in the main lab movement could be heard as his eyes opened before taking a big whiff of air picking up on the three’s scents. 

The temperatures were freezing causing scales to become cold and sore, they were here the room lined with old cryopod chambers that once held experimented dinosaurs very much like Geiger , Specimen 5284 and Specimen 5283. Moving with caution Geiger stepped forwards with the two siblings beside her as they crushed bones that littered the metal floor panels.

Low growls echoed as bioluminescent glew in the dark with the movement of loud footsteps that crushed the floor beneath him, Nidhogg was here and his eyes locked onto the three intruders as he let out a roar that rattled the lower lab levels and this wasn’t a happy reunion for the three each side had a score to settle.

“Nidhogg.. Long time no see you killer, how we waited to do this” Geiger said stepping forwards as the two siblings joined in baring their teeth and growling as the large acro ahead of them hissed in return, as the cold battlefield of their once home filled with the horrors that Nidhogg burned into their brains and memories , it wasn’t going to be a happy time for the large predators as they began to circle Nidhogg taking each side of him as angry hisses and roars it was time to repay Nidhogg back with what he did to them.

Nidhogg let out a loud roar as he growled before taunting the three of them as Geiger, and the two siblings roared back before a onslaught of bites and painful growls echoed in the lower levels with Geiger taking the front As she snapped at Nidhogg in the face with her jaws and Specimens 5284 & 5283 took his sides digging their claws into his side as Nidhogg tried to throw Geiger off the front of him the large beasts continuing their bloody battle but Nidhogg was getting overwhelmed as he let a roar out before growling once more his eyes locked onto the three who stepped forwards.

“This is pay back for harsh memories you left, you beast” The small group chasing Nidhogg back into the dark and celebrating with one another after the hard fought battle, and it was a past grudge now leveled out, the group now heading back through the labs leaving Nidhogg to lick his wounds.

“Wow that was relief, glad Nidhogg got it coming for him, and that battle was great” Specimen 5284 said before nudging her brother playfully who was licking his wounds from the fight, the three taking one more look at the bloodied floor and Nidhogg's footprints back into the deep abyss.
