Redemption

finally getting around to doing the event quests!! beginning with the story quest!
decided to do my own story for the story quest! so the prompt was:

Depict one of the following scenarios:

• • Something that happened in the past which your dinosaur regrets- maybe they hurt someone, broke a promise, or weren't there for their friends
  • The way your dinosaur redeems itself or tries to make up for past choices that it regrets- maybe by helping a stranger, repairing damage they've done, or making a sacrifice

so for this i wanted to depict Bruce apologising for the first time, to Velvet of all dinos. after bringing her, Bessie and Citron far away to a small island, as he's alone with them it starts to dawn on him how fucked up his situation is now. he's let his younger brother, Ivor, become a dictator and even supported him with it. as he's getting old he's realising he doesn't want to fight anymore so he decides to help Velvet escape the island and find her husband(Verglas). this is the beginning of his redemption arc :3

about this weird story i've got going on with these guys(gonna call it "a quick one" from now on) i'm bad at straight up telling stories so i've decided i'll just let event/seasonal prompts speak for me. if the prompt fits a part of the story, i'll do it! but thats also why you may not understand whats happening here. i do hope to expand on it soon :) if i could put all related art in a folder i would.
