Ocean Bounty - PoM

Ariadne, a small, pale Atopo with dark bands wrapping around her tail, was swimming around nearby the coast. The ocean water was much colder now, as the seasons were changing once more. She didn't mind too much, seeing as it barely affected her source of food.
The pale Atopo proceeded to swim around, grabbing both seaweed and fun trinkets to bring with her. She wants to find something fun to give her friends for the holidays, after all.
After searching for a while she finally managed to find an abundance of delicious food as well as a beautiful glass bottle that while it had a rather simple design on it, the design was adorned with a beautiful, glittering holographic pattern. It had somehow withstood the pressure of the water and sand around with just minimal damage, so it looked almost brand new. She had also spent some time crushing seashells to stuff in there, to the best of her ability, to make a fun decoration. Once satisfied with her creation for Eliza and the bouquet of food for Celina, she started to swim off, they had decided to meet just before dusk, so she had plenty of time still, but she'd rather be early than late.

Celena swam around quickly, she feared she’d be running out of time until the gathering later tonight, and she had not yet found suitable gifts for anyone. She wasn't a hunter, seeing as she was but a puny Atopo, so getting fish for her aristo friend was out of the question. Instead she focused on finding something more practical or perhaps just something pretty that she could give her instead.
The dark armed, dusted Atopo gracefully moved forward, sweeping up some long lost human trinkets as she found them spread across the seabed. Most were things she just considered junk, but she wanted to take a proper look at them under sunlight regardless. Maybe some of it could be of interest after all.
Some sorting and thinking later, Celena settled on one gift each for her friends among the junk. A seashell necklace for Ariadne and a beautiful, pink tinted conch for Eliza. She was thrilled and positive that they both would enjoy her gifts, so she started to make her way to their hangout area.

Eliza, the black appy aristo, was starting to regret agreeing to the meeting today. She had absolutely no idea what to give her two smaller friends. Her immediate thought was of course food, but she honestly had never paid attention to what they enjoyed eating since they were herbivores, unlike herself.
She drifted around aimlessly in the current for a bit, letting it guide her as she was looking around for ideas. But that's when the thought struck her. What if she arrived there before the other two to decorate the place, and that would be her gift? That could surely work, she thought.
With speed, she made her way to their hangout and immediately started to clean up and declutter the place, the three of them weren't exactly the most tidy. Once satisfied with the cleaning she started to pull out some decorations, most didn't make sense for the holidays, but it was the spirit that mattered most. The effort and thought behind it.
As luck would have it, she did find some Christmas ornaments that they had found a while back and had been stashing away so she did her best attaching and hanging them places where they wouldn't dislodge and float off.

Eliza swam back a bit to admire her creation. It looked so cozy. Just as she looked out towards the open sea, she could spot her two friends joining up together and they soon arrived.
The three of them excitedly swam around each other in a few spirals before entering their hangout, where Ariadne and Celina were met by Eliza’s hard work. They gasped in awe as they swam around to check out everything she had done. Goggling at how she had used the ornaments to make their place just a bit more festive.
“This is beautiful Eliza, great work!” Ariadne exclaimed, and Celina nodded in agreement.
“It's so cozy and festive.” the sandy Atopo ensured with enthusiastic nods.
Eliza was relieved that they liked it, but she felt it was necessary to admit the reason, it would eat her up on the inside if she didn't.
“I do apologise but I unfortunately couldn't think of what to get you guys, so I figured that fixing up and decorating the place would be my gift for today.” she nervously confessed. “I hope you don't mind.”
Ariadne gently shook her head before she spoke. “Not at all. I like giving gifts more than receiving them anyway.” she giggled. “Speaking of, here is what I got for you, I filled it myself.” she added as she swam over to Eliza and handed her the shell filled bottle.
“And this is what I got for you!” Celina quickly chimed in as she eagerly handed the pretty conch over to Eliza
“Oh you two, you're too kind..” the dark appy Aristo said, she would surely be blushing at this point if she was able to. “Thank you.”
The two Atopos happily smiled towards Eliza before looking at each other to hand over their gifts.
“I ran out of ideas so I brought some of your favourite seaweed.” Ariadne chuckled as she handed it over to Celina, who couldn't hide her excitement even if she tried.
“And I got this for you, I hope it fits..” Celine replied and held out the seashell necklace she had found that must have been lost a long time ago at sea. Ariadne was quick to wiggle her head in through the thread, it fit her perfectly.
“I love it so much, thank you, Celina.”
The sand coloured Atopo couldn’t help but smile back at her friend. “Thank you as well..”
As the three of them had now handed over and received their gift, they felt it was time for a proper meal to end the day with. Celena and Ariadne took to gathering yummy seaweed while Eliza hunted herself some squid and fish to feast upon. Once done gathering their feast they gathered back in their hangout to eat together. The three friends celebrated the season as well as their friendship while they ate. They went over their gifts multiple times. Talked about how they procured their gifts while Celina and Ariadne couldn’t stop complimenting on the beautiful way Eliza had decorated. It made the friends gathering so much more festive for them.
