The choices we make

It was a winter with the night skies staying longer then the sun has showing with the snow laying peacefully makingit bare with hardly food with frozen river side but a small opening to get water there is a large trail with prints leading to a mediums small herd with the sun just rising a little allowing the dinosaurs know the sun was about to rise but they don't know how long it will last maybe they know but the herd if Styracosaurus getting up some shaking off snow and some of the hatchlings playing over the snow that has been shaken off the adults vanilla softly looked at the little babies that play around she nuzzled one of them that are a sleep to get up so the rest of the herd can move to another spot to get food and water while also finding a new place to stay for the winter when she looked over she saw maribell she snorted while shaking her head at the sight of her she has not forgiven her of what she did to her a winter ago leaving her lost in the snowy woods being surrounded by a three of carnosturas as vinilla watching marribell leave her she can feel her heart break as she feel this betrail and she head butted a carnotuars at was attacking her while another one attacked her from behind she threw off one at them she bellowed at them angrily she kept fighting till she herd a familiar bellow from one of their herd members coming rushing in fling one of the carnotaursus away from vinilla. Vanilla remembering thise flashbacks she shook her head while  vanilla walked away to lead away the babies to their mothers since she stayed watch keeping them warm for the time beaing maribell looked over at vanilla snorted at vanilla as well and head over to one of her friends to talk to them about the past she knew what she did was wrong it was a life or death sitiuation she should have stayed and help vanilla but she was to much of a coward to do show she can see the scars on villa some have healed some is still working on healing but she does missing talking to vinilla her long time friend but her betrayl to vanilla she knew she messed but badly  she miss her dear friend she looked at one the their herd members one of them talked to maribell about the journey they are taking the herd bull bellowed softly letting them know the herd is moving now he know it was time to know the journey for a new place will be dangerous if they don't keep eyes open with their surroundings they don't want the babies to get hurt if something were to happen vanilla keep walking being on the edge of the ring protecting for the babies with them being in the middle of the herd she softly looked a head while also looking at the side a little she has this eerie feeling that they were being watch maribell notice she was looking and she softly got the feeling as well she shifted uneasy not liking this feeling she felt it before not liking it she softly nudge the babie little more almost being far from the center of the circle but she knew she would have to fight if she had to she don't hear the foot steps coming behind her and others turned around and rammed against the carnotuars that was charging and mari was startled about this and the others got information to protect the calfs they watched two others protected maribell they snorted at them they slowly backup letting maribell doing the same poting her horns twords the carnos the carno snarled at them snapping its jaws at them it was hungry vanilla watched them not liking the situation and she huffed hot hair making smoke in the air and so did the others showing the carno they are railed up and angry the calves stayed closed together not liking this situation they make whimper sounds when the carno try to at maribell again the one member ramed its horns at it sending it into a ditch the herd stayed a little defense then the bull sees it getting up and ran away getting away from the herd vanilla relaxed a little and glared at maribelle then looked away softly pushing the claves towards the center of the herd again as the herd started to walk away they can see their new destination maribell looked ashamed and she sighed not happy about what just happened she followed the herd to the new sport and she decided to apolosed to vanilla when she can when they get alone without the ear shot of others listing to them vinilla smiled at the new area and the bull stold them to stop while he goes to check it out when he gave the green light the herd started to go in the mothers sat down tired vanilla got up and when to the edge to gather some stuff maribelle walked over “ Hey vanilla” she softly whiserp vanilla stoped and turn around to see maribell “ what do you want marie” maribell looked down sad at vanilla “ i want to apologise for what happen to winters ago” she said softly before vanilla can say anything she felt her tail baing grab vanilla bellowed alerting the hed while being dragged away from the herd as marie yelled “Villy!!!” ignoring the others trying to get to help but as she was about to chase but she stop she was scared but she knew she had to help her best friend but she knew she cant let her down after she apologise she needs to be there as she was angry about this and started chased after the creature that was dragging vanilla mariebelle notice it was an acro that was dragging vanilla maribelle started to run faster seeing it flung vanilla in the center of the small patch of open trees marrie got to vanilla ramming the acros head “ leave her alone you turd” she huffed at it vanilla was shocked about marie standing up for her vanilla softly tries to get up but marie helped up up not taking her eyes away from the predator “im keeping my apologies to you vanilla im making sure i mean it” she bellowed as the acro went to attack and she head butted its head while vinllna attacked the leg but another acro came out villy headramed its face away marie and vanilla but to but protecting each other they hear another bellow its was two more herd members coming out to help them out they attack the one vinilla was attack vinilla hleped maribelle with that one that attacked her from earlier the acros roared at them ramming their head against the stys heads as well wanting to eat but they knew they were out numbers when two more herd members coming to hello the other the acros roared and ran away but one tried to get maribell was about to grab her tail mariebell yelped and vanilla tured around raming her head at its eyes it raroed in pain letting go maribell running away with blood driping the other run the acros away vinilia check maribelle and the other two herd member came other to check on them as well vanilla looked at maribell “ you saved me from them im thankful that you did that marie” as she rubbed her head against her happily and the six stys started to head back they all chatted happily vanilla played with marie as the four others smiled seeing the two back together again mariebell grabbed a flower she found and handed it to vanilla and vanilla nuzzles against her happy and they stopped seeing carnos attacking the herd trying to get the calves all six bellowed running at them getting information and vanilla and maribel knocked some down making low bellow giving the carnos a warning but they keep attacking but the two mates sticked together the carnos went away hurt and bruised mariebell looked at the herd as the calves cheers happily running out to the adults and to their mothers worried about them and maribell sat down and vanilla smiled and went to the herd head telling him that maribell saved her life and she has fought with maribelle against the acros the head smiled softly and sat down the fighters layed down tired geting some sleep in and the calves played around happily vanilla relaxed softly and nuzzled marribell happily “ i am really sorry for leaving you like that villy i was a coward i should have never did that to you i really hope you can forgive me and dont leave me because i was stupid” vanilla looked at her and chuckled “ i have forgiven you silly but dont do that again”
