Tis the season of giving after all..

“Did you find anything yet Bulrush!, I don’t have much over here yet seems like everything has been picked over” a small cryo yelled over her brown feathers puffing up due to the cold, she was out with Bulrush and Mocker two much older cryo’s who had been gifting fairly recently and Zephyr had watched from a distance and decided she wanted to join in on the gift giving spirit.

She fluffed her feathers as she looked through the powered snow trying to find items that Bulrush and Mocker had explained to her earlier before their search. This was new for Zephyr but she was happy to learn the ways and help out with giving to others and she was more than ready to search high and low. As footsteps from behind her , it was Mocker and Bulrush who had found some small items that they wanted to give out to others with Bulrush taking the lead as they skidded down a deep snow bank to meet up with Zephyr who wasn’t having as much luck as them.

“Find anything yet Zeph? me and Mocker found some things but not too much usually it’s all hiding underneath the snow” as he looked up before spotting Mocker with an old can in his jaws approaching them. They figured they could move on as Bulrush had a idea where to check for more items to be able to gift out, the three cryos making their way through the deep snow as Mocker and Zephyr followed quickly behind Bulrush who knew where to look a bit more as it wasn’t explored to often and some trinkets could be hiding in the deep snow.

After a bit of a trek Bulrush came to a stop as he spotted the small run down building onto far from the pathway they had been following and let out a toothy grin before calling over Zephyr and Mocker who were quick to follow and joined him in stopping as Mocker let out a laugh “Nice find Bulrush you always know where to find the best stuff huh when it’s needed” before he placed the can he had found in the snow and motioning to Zephyr to follow which she did as Bulrush watched the two eagerly enter the abandoned building to look for more trinkets to gift out to other dinosaurs that they would soon pass by on their travels.

Zephyr entered the small building as she fluffed out her feathers as the cold was getting to her but her eyes widened as she spotted half buried trinkets in the snow, leaning down she picked up and dusted them of from the snow , it was a old chain with different objects hanging from it which then Mocker and Bulrush joined in digging through the snow and also finding more objects their gift pool was getting much bigger now and after little more looking and gathering Bulrush called Zephyr and Mocker as it was time to hand out all the items and objects they had gotten out of the building Bulrush had led them to, it was time to do the giving and all three were ready to hand the things they had found out to others.

“Are you two ready to go find some others to hand the gifts out too?” Bulrush said as he gathered his items and looked at Zephyr who was more than excited along with Mocker who was happy to help, each giving Bulrush a nod before the group set off on the pathway now looking for other dinosaurs to hand out the various gifts they had found, and their first victim of giving was a large styracosaurus who was out enjoying the snowy weather as she was digging for herbs and plants that would be hidden from her as she snorted with her head in the ground up lifting the snow not aware of the cryo’s presence approaching her before she heard a voice call out.

“Excuse me, we would like to hand out some gifts to you, would you like one?” Zephyr said as she held out the item in her claws towards the feathered styracosaurus who turned around shaking the snow off her, “oh how wonderful during the cold months, I would love one thank you” the large herbivore said taking the item from Zephyr who was happy to give it out as Bulrush and Mocker also approached giving the herbivore an item each that they had found themselves.

“We would like to also give these too as well” Mocker and Bulrush said as they smiled with the small group laughing and conversing with the large herbivore before saying their goodbyes and off to hand out more gifts, the group of three enjoying themselves so far and watching Zephyr was a treat for Mocker and Bulrush as they always loved to teach others how to give and join in with them.

“Wow that was so fun, gifting like this always happens during the cold season?” Zephyr said as she walked beside Mocker who nodded and watched as Bulrush took the lead before Mocker began to speak “Yeah we do this every year it is always such a fun thing to do and Bulrush always drags me out” Mocker said as he spotted a group of tropes flying ahead and waving them down so they could also get some gifts as Bulrush was first to meet the winged dinosaurs.

“We have some gifts for you, to take on your travels and share with others” He said with the tropes coming down to ground as they landed, Zephyr and Mocker joined in with handing the last of their gifts out to the tropes along with Bulrush, they waved goodbye and watched as the flock flew off thanking the small group for the gifts, after that the three decided it was time to head off and enjoy their time in the snow after all handing out all the gifts was exhausting and some relaxation was definitely needed.

Bulrush, Mocker and Zephyr headed off to enjoy their time content with all the gift giving they had done.
