The sound of various growls echoed as thuds and thumps with bodies hitting the hard padded snow along with the sound of claws scratching against ice. Along with a harsh voice repeating the same words over and over again as the large figured towered over to much smaller cyo’s who went by the names of Wing and BlackTip who were shaking off the harsh hits they received from the much larger cryolophosaurus who looked at them with a stern look and bared jaws.

“Get up, you two are sloppy, at this rate the other packs will kill us next season” a low growl came from Edge’s jaws as she circled BlackTip and Wing who were quick to get to their feet at the words from her before preparing themselves again for the onslaught of attacks Edge was dealing out. The small pack had been training over the past few days and Edge wasn’t letting up as BlackTip and Wing were much younger and not as experienced as she was which wasn’t going to work for her since other packs would be training for the next season to come.

“Oh come on Edge don’t you think you are being too harsh on us, we aren’t dumb just not as good as you besides we train all the time can you let up?” BlackTip said as she shook snow off her snout her brown scales wet with melted snow from being thrown on the cold ground, as she looked at Wing, a dark scaled cryo who was still trying to find his feet from the fall.

Edge wasn’t pleased with the back talk from her lower ranked members but she played into it as she held her brow up wanting to see what kinda training they were taking out of the entire sparing, “Well why don’t you show me your training or moves I am interested to see how far you two have come in terms of fighting”

“Approach me now”

Edge said as she stepped backwards awaiting for Wing and BlackTip to launch their first attack and she was keen to see what kind of training they were taking out of the sparring they had been doing but they needed to learn how in order to be prepared for the upcoming season and it was about to start.

Wing the much darker cryo lunged forwards as BlackTip followed shortly behind him as they made their way towards Edge who was standing at the ready, this was going to be fun and besides it never hurt to over train so you were always ready.

“Now BlackTip go under, and i'll go around” Wing said as he growled, attacking Edge front on as BlackTip went behind her not saying a word, just a nod to Wing’s command. 

“Well saying where you're going isn’t very smart now is it” Edge said grinning as she counter attacked Wing but turned her head as she held him down not seeing BlackTip who had gone around behind Edge and was ready to attack, when Edge felt a sharp bite in her lower leg.

“Oh how clever , you landed a bite, maybe the training earlier we had done has paid off, but can you handle a counter attack you two?” Edge said as she leaned down before throwing her heavy tail towards BlackTip but allowed Wing to get free and back to his feet.

With a harsh thud Edge’s tail slammed into BlackTips chest sending the young female cryo back into the snow, and now Edge’s attention was on Wing who was alone , did he do enough training to handle himself on his own now it was time to put the young male cryo to the test without BlackTip who was coughing from the blow.

“Wing, show me what you're made of!” Edge roared as she stepped forwards ready for a attack on Wing who was trying to figure out the next move was he to dodge her or fight her head on, but he could see BlackTip had shook off Edges hit and was ready to Counter with Wing who now had the confidence to follow through the with the attack.

“Foolish! Come on then” Edge as she rushed forwards unaware of the trap she was about to step in, but she was about to find out soon. With quick steps and a gap closer, Wing knocked Edge upwards as BlackTip slammed into her side, making Edge lose the wind out of her as her jaws snapped shut before hitting the ground as BlackTip and Wing held her down before looking at one another.

“OK OK Enough, you two proved to me the training and sparring has been working and you got lucky this time” Edge snarled as she pushed BlackTip and Wing off her watching the two younger cryo’s grin at one another, the training and sparring had paid off and the two were proving to have gained from the harsh lessons, along with Edge being able to strengthen up herself with the sparring and tussles the three had been having over the past couple of cold days, they were ready for the next season to come.

“We told you we knew what we were doing Edge always doubtful in your old ways” BlackTip said as she laid in the snow to cool off as Wing joined beside her chuckling, licking their fight wounds as they watched Edge make her way to a spot to lay down as well to cool off from the intense sparring they had done.

“Looks like we will be ready after all for next season, you two trained well today take the time to rest and heal up” Edge said growling through her teeth before taking a slump down in the snow to relax her muscles, Wing and BlackTip nodding as the pack laid down for a rest for the afternoon.

A training season well spent hopefully it was enough for the next season when it came but for now they would need to rest before getting to any more training.
