“Get off of me Bowser, we have to take this seriously!”  Pine growled through his teeth as he tried to stand up but was pushed back down to the snow as a much larger acro who went by the name of Bowser stood over him letting out a laugh. The two had been practicing sparring over the last few days with Bowser not taking it seriously and thinking it was a joke, but they needed to train properly for the next coming season.

“Oh come on Pine, it isn’t that serious besides when do we ever see any other acro’s they aren’t common on the surface” Bowser said as he shook off snowflakes that had landed on his black feathers from above, as he let up Pine so they could continue, with Bowser being much bigger than Pine he never understood his strength. The two walked with Pine chasing Bowser as the two exchanged playful nips and bites before they came to a stop in a clearing As Boweser came to a stop sniffing the air.

“Pine stop moving something is here” Bowser said as he felt his breathing heighten, in which his eyes darted back and forth from the trees but couldn’t pinpoint anything.

“Bowser you're seeing things you big feather brain, we have been alone for the past few hours only the annoying tropes above flapping around” Pine said letting out a laugh as he kept walking forwards not listening to Bowser.

Bowser let out a growl as he caught up to Pine, “I’m being serious! Something is here, stop moving” 

The sound of heavy footsteps crushing in the snow echoed from behind the tree line, as loud cracks of sticks and branches sent the roosting tropes flying in a panic, and a harsh voice cracked from behind them as a large figure towered over them the sound of a beeping noise coming from it. 

“You two seem far from home, you should always watch your surroundings” the figure growled it was a large female acro who went by Geiger and had been watching the two spar, tracking them until she decided to reveal herself to them as she wanted to help the two young ones with training for the next season along with it would benefit her as well.

“We we were just practicing fighting or next season, did we wander too far into your territory?”  Pine said backing up as he hid behind Bowser who was trying to stand his ground against the large monster that stood before them, but when Pine spoke it caught Geiger's attention as she cocked her head with a grin.

“Training for next season you say? Well why don’t I teach you a few things. You can practice against me I promise I'll go easy” she said, stepping forwards as she scanned the two over, and set her eyes on Bowser who seemed to like the idea as his pupils widened at her words. The two young acro’s nodded, saying they could use the practice and Geiger would be a big opponent , so it was settled.

Bowser stepped forwards as he let out a growl and nudged Pine to get ready, and with that Geiger also readied herself as she let out a roar “Bring it” , Bowser was the first to rush forwards as he had his teeth at the ready trying to use his size even though smaller then Geiger and was met with a head on clash Geiger knocking him over as then turning her attention to Pine who was to afraid to move but was jolted when Geiger spoke.

“Come on don’t just stand there move, your packmate is down I could have easily killed him, what's your next plan of attack” she growled as she roared once more making her way over to Pine who bared his teeth but it wasn’t anything of power but of fear of Geiger as he watched Bowser shake off the hard hit from the much larger acro who was now focused on him, this was training but a harsh session.

Pine swallowed harshly as he stepped forwards trying to size up Geiger who was done waiting for the young acro to make a decision he needed to learn and that's what training was all about, you needed to know the ways to fight as new seasons brought new enemies and challenges.

“Pine Attack her, go for her missing arm area try and find a weakness” Bowser said as he had finally gotten to his feet and was coming to aid Pine, with a nod Pine moved forwards as he landed a headbutt in Geiger's side, which hit it’s mark as she hissed in pain taking a step back, he had done it and Geiger reminded herself that she needed to be careful against much smaller dinosaurs as sometimes they could overwhelm much larger opponents due to their size.

“Good hit, but can you block a counter attack” as Geiger growled slamming her heavy tail towards Pine, but slamming her tail into Bowers jaws who blocked for Pine, the two were learning to work together and Geiger was training on her attack patterns when against multiple dinosaurs at once, the three were benefiting from their little scuffle.

After a little more back and forth, with Geiger attacking and Bowser and Pine countering it had gotten later in the day and Bowser and Pine seemed to be exhausted when Geiger took notice with one final shove Geiger stopped.

“Good training you two I hope this was helpful, I know it helped me” Geiger said as she slumped down in the snow looking at Pine and Bowser who had already laid down to catch their breath.

“We definitely needed that Geiger thank you for sparring with us, it will be Useful for next season” Bowser and Pine said as they gave toothy grins to one another bowing their heads after to thank Geiger who was shrugged it off as nothing, she got something out of it as well so it wasn’t a waste of time. Once rested Geiger stood up and walked off looking back before hearing Pine and Bowser thank her in the distance.

“Young ones.. Always so overconfident” she growled before wandering off.
