Exploration was now the main task on the mind of DeadBite and Viperess well and survival, now being young adult cryolophosaurus they roamed the labs deeper levels without fear unlike when they were small hatchlings and didn’t leave the safer levels, but this time it was different as being much older the two knew how to handle most things they ran into. The labs were the home for them and they only knew about it never going to the surface world but now being deeper in the labs exploring, and that was on DeadBites, and Viperess’s mind as the two were in the lower levels which had old green houses along with the deadly but lazy herbivores known by Dacentrurus who often stuck to that floor of the labs as they fed off the overgrown plant life.

“Man does it stink down here Viper why do we always have to come through the plant area, especially with the dacentrurus down here, they always are in the way” DeadBite said as she growled walking beside Viper who just shook her head at her sisters words, besides it would be a nice change of scenery for once. The two kept silent as the sound of multiple lumbering Dacentrurus moved about swaying their tails hitting the metal objects but not seeming to care, Viper moving silent as she watched from afar the herd seemed to be lazy and quiet today which was normal but they usually weren’t up and moving at this time something had the herd on edge it seemed but DeadBite and Viperess couldn’t pinpoint what it could be as DeadBite knocked over objects with her snout before catching up to Viperess.

“The herd seems off some messing around, they aren’t laying down like usual” Viper hissed at Deadbite who sighed in annoyance at her sister before watching the herd.

“Oh come on Viper they are big and dumb, they eat all day and only get grumpy when you get in their space, just because they aren’t laying down like the usual doesn’t mean something is wrong” DeadBite said as she walked ahead shaking her snout before letting out a laugh before stopping as a loud step shook the ground causing the two to freeze.

The herd of Dacentrurus grew unsettled as they shook their spines as a warning with most waddling off as more steps followed after the first set causing the floor to shake, something was here and it was way bigger than the herbivores since they were panicked.

“Something is coming DeadBite, get low!” Viper said as she watched the herd scramble to get away from the approaching footsteps, a red light blipped in the darkness followed by a low growl from large jaws that dripped with drool, the two siblings wide eyed as they froze with fear even with being hidden.

It was an acro and not just any acro it was Geiger, the horror of the labs. She must have been tracking the herd as she was hunting them looking to pick out a weak member or some smaller one who didn’t know it’s limits in battle, DeadBite and Viperess only ever heard rumors about the acro who donned the human collar around its neck and was missing an eye. 

“That's Geiger, I knew she was real. I only ever heard of stories about her Viper, we are finally crossing paths with the beast of the labs!” Deadbite called out as the two followed Geiger as the loud acro chased the much slower Dacentrurus who couldn’t keep up with the rest of the herd, Geiger was hunting and had no idea that the young cryo’s were watching but she would soon enough but for now they stayed hidden in the darkness and panic.

“We should see if she will share, we should try and introduce our shelves, maybe we can get on her good side” DeadBite said as she became over excited and Viper yanked her by the tail with an annoyed look across her jaws.

“Are you nuts! That thing will eat us, we are but just a snack for her I think we should stay hidden” Viperess said as she heard a loud thud hit the ground as Geiger had taken down a herbivore finally and was now digging into her meal as the smell of blood filled DeadBites and Viperess stopped taking in the scent, their stomachs growling maybe it wasn’t a bad idea to introduce themselves to Geiger it could work out within their favor it was worth a try.

DeadBite and Viperess nodded to one another as they made themselves known, the large acro looking at them letting out a low growl as she watched the two approach her and the kill that sat under her.”Well well look what we have here, some young ones who have come out of hiding, interested in the fresh kill are we now?” Geiger said as she ripped a piece of meat from the carcass before tossing it at DeadBite and Viperess who were shocked at Geiger’s actions.

“We wanted to introduce ourselves since we call the labs home, and don’t know many other dinosaurs face to face down here, I am DeadBite and this is Viperess my sister” DeadBite said as she looked down at the hunk of meat and back at her sister who was licking her jaws already.

Geiger nodded and shifted her weight as she grinned “Well isn’t that pleasant , it’s nice seeing others lurking down here, come join me in my kill I insist really” Geiger said as she dug into the carcass ripping flesh and swallowing it hole waiting for the two siblings to join her in the meal.

DeadBite and Viperess couldn’t turn down a good meal as they were drawn to Geiger for some reason and wanted to learn about the large acro they had crossed paths with and this was the time when she invited them. The two sat down as they enjoyed the meal talking with their new found friend but little did they know Geiger wasn’t all too friendly but only time would tell besides what is the worst that could happen right?
