The sound of small pitter patters echoed down the hallways of the labs upper floors with the ceilings leaking from further up as water droplets dropped down and the stone floors soaking up the little water it could due to being cracked to age, the alpha labs provided a home but nothing to boast about. A dim glowing light lit up a dark area down in the sewer areas of the alpha labs with the murky water surrounding channels that were deep in the labs, followed behind the dim light were two other figures, one who was much bigger than the two feathered ones in front .

A small trio of lab hatchlings were making their way across the cold floors it consisting of a small sucho, alberto and utahraptor who all had hatched in the deep dark floors of the labs when the cryo pods had failed awaking them from their deep slumber into the labs the only thing they had ever known so far in life. Stumbling upon one another joining each other to make up a misfit group.

“Atlas do you know where we are going? I don’t remember us going this far last time, I think we are lost” the small utahraptor who spotted dark black feathers chirped up as his orange eyes scanned the area around them and he went by the name of Slad3.

The larger sucho hatchling sighed and kept walking before the third figure butted in who went by the name of Diaval, giving off a chuckle and looking at the small Utah.

“Atlas knows where he is going have some faith Slad3 beside we always find our way back. The lab is big you have to remember” the black scaled albertosaurus hatchling said as he caught up with Atlas who had come to a stop.

Finding their way around the labs' lower floors were a tricky task for such young hatchlings but they made due besides they were born in the labs and had seen mostly everything it had to offer. They had made their way to the deeper leaves where most of the electrical equipment was trashed and broken due to the infrastructure whittling away due to its old age, it was somewhere where they shouldn’t have been as dangers lurked in every corner down in the lower levels but being so young and naive the three continued coming to a large hallway that had doorways lining each wall.

Atlas and lead them deeper without knowing as his memory of the place had slipped his mind a couple times and he was just guessing at this point. “I think I took a wrong turn, but it should be fine all the stories we overheard are probably just myths come on you two let’s keeping I’ll light the way” the sucho said puffing out his chest as his lowly dim lit bioluminescence gave the dark hallway somewhat of a light.

Slad3 and Diaval followed behind with the small utahraptor sticking between the two and Diaval making loud chirps out as it echoed down the hallway coming back to the three which made the small hatchlings giggle at with one another before Diaval trotted ahead of Atlas and Slad3 who followed behind, this adventure from their normal area was starting to become fun at least for now.

Coming to an open area, Slad3, Diaval and Atlas came to a stop as the flashing of a red light dimly light in the darkness beeped along with movement as rough scales moved against the hard floor causing the trio to freeze. Atlas froze as he tried to make out what was ahead of them as Slad3 focused on the red light and Diaval moved forwards wanting to investigate it.

“What was that, and look at that red light wonder what is making it” Diaval said as he sniffed the air as the other two joined in moving forwards. 

“Don’t touch it! It could break something we dont know whats around here” Atlas said as he looked around but couldn’t make out anything around them, as the three got closer Slad3 tripped over a hard object as he hit the floor harshly falling in front of a set of jaws and a dark hole where a eye should be on a dinosaur.

“Ouch what was that, uhh guys” Slad3 said as he felt the breath from the jaws hit his feathers causing him to freeze, something was in front of him and he could make out where the red light was coming from it was attached to a collar that sat around the neck of a large acro who seemed to have been sleeping but now shifted due to her tail being tripped over.

Atlas and Diaval rushed to aid Slad3 as they stopped seeing a large shadow hunch over them the now red light higher up in the air as the breath from Geiger wafted onto the small hatchlings , followed by a loud roar coming from the enraged acro who went by Geiger and who was annoyed that her slumber was awoken by three hatchlings, the chase on and they had wandered into the danger.

“RUN I think we woke it up, I think I took us to the wrong place” Atlas said as his did his best to flash Geiger with his glowing markings as Slad3 and Diaval got to their feet and rushed off the small trio now running for their lives in the dark with Slad3 looking back as Geiger stomped cracking the ground beneath her, Atlas and Diaval weren’t far behind and they rushed the way they had come or they thought so.

Diaval skidded to a stop as he called for Atlas and Slad3 as the three dove into a nearby channel that stunk of green water, the small trio making a splash as Geiger stopped at the edge sniffing the water and letting out a low growl before roaring as it echoed.

Slad3 resurfaced as he took in a breath of air and swam to the closest land area that was metal grate that had fallen into the Channel, next to come was Diaval and last was Atlas who coughed as he joined his two packmates before shaking out his feathers and letting out a laugh.

“Well that was a close one maybe I shouldn’t lead next time” Atlas said as he sat down next to the others who were catching their breath.

Slad3 and Diaval nodded as they let out laughs before sitting to dry off, maybe taking the wrong turn and running into sleeping death wasn’t the best idea and was more of a accident, besides it was the labs accidents happened all the time but least they learned their lesson this time.
