It had been a harsh weather sprout on the island with the snow coating most of the ground but now that spring was coming it had started to heat up and many dinosaurs were out and about as the once cold coated ground was now blooming with green plant life followed by various blooms of colorful floral life. The sound of thundering footsteps that crushed into the muddy grassy ground rumbled around as three young styracosaurus came barreling down a pathway letting out laughs with a feathered one in the lead followed by to much smaller ones who spotted various patterns across their scales.

“Slow down Rampart! You're going to crush all the new blooming floral life we came here to see, not wreak it!” Roray called out as she slowed to a trott and yelled out to Regalos and of course Rampart who were rough housing and not watching where they were stepping, the three had been sticking close to home when the snow was bad but now that spring was here Rampart and Regalos wanted to go explore and watch the new bloom that had started.

Regalos had slowed when Rory called out to them and shook his head before letting out a smile as he leaned down sniffing the floral life “Yeah Rampart relax listen to Roray we are here to see the bloom we could mess with the growing plant life” he said before looking at Rampart who had also slowed down with Rory finally catching up to the two.

The floral life was in a great bloom where they had traveled too it was the biggest one that the three stys had seen in their lifetime, they always heard stories from elders in their herd but it was much better seeing it themselves, the colors were vast and the ground was soft which allowed for a abundance to grow when the snow melted away. 

“Oh come on Rory you know I won’t step on the flowers besides the bloom is all across the island not just here don’t get your frill in a twist” the feathered male said as he also leaned down to sniff the bloom and inspect the sharp and vibrant colors, it almost made him sneeze as he stepped back watching Rory approach from behind them as she also took in the beauty of the bloom that surrounded them.

“The elders were right look how beautiful it is , the bloom is vast and I have never seen this many different colors” Rory said as she picked some with her beak and showed them to Rampart and Regalos who just smiled and decided to walk further as they wanted to see more of the bloom as they were near a river which meant more bloom would be growing since the river provided a great source of water.

Rampart was in the lead as Regalos followed behind and of course Rory before the yellow scaled sty spoke up “ I wonder how much of the bloom as happened across the island what do you think guys?” Regalos said as he leaned down sniffing the plant and floral life they had passed by with each step brought new flowers.

Rampart picked up his pace as Rory and Regalos kept asking questions as he wanted to get to the river to see the bigger part of the bloom, which they were almost there.

“Look guys the river! Come stop talking about those ones look at all those flowers” Rampart said as he shook out his feathers before taking off leaving the two behind as they just shook their heads and letting out a laugh as they watched Rampart. 

The bloom was even thicker up ahead near the river and many other herbivores were also here enjoying the bloom after the winter spells, flowers were tall and large with even more vibrant colors.

Rory and Regalos had caught up and joined with Rampart as they decided it was time to hangout with most of the bloom now being around the river.

“I am so glad we listened to the elders, I would have hated to miss this it’s so beautiful and a great welcome to spring” Regalos said as he looked at Rory who had collected various flowers from the bloom.

Rampart nodded in agreement as he smiled, sniffing the flowers that were near them as the small group watched the various other herbivores were just arriving and enjoying the new spring welcome.

“I am glad I came with you guys it is beautiful for sure and I can’t wait for spring I was so sick of the snow months” Rampart said as he laid down to enjoy the bloom and relax, Regalos and Rory smiled and nodded in agreement before also enjoying the relaxing and now warm weather surrounded by the bloom of flowers and plants.
