Submission for the 2023 Discovering the World event!
In the lee of Isla Pera's volcanoes, one can sometimes find deep valleys. Though surrounded by relatively arid lands, what occasional rain does fall collects in them, creating lush vales in stark contrast to the dry rock encasing them. Often, one might catch a glimpse of a rainbow during one of those scattered rainfalls, but look quickly, as these cloudbursts vanish as quickly as they come.
