The day was bright with the clacking of the flying tropes in the sky, everyone was celebrating the season of pride and one acrocanthosaurus in particular was over excited for the big party they were going to throw tonight. Jupiter had sprung up early in the morning, being quiet not to wake Solaris who was sound asleep next to him. Shaking out his bright feathers as he left the cave they called home taking in the warm sun rays, it was time to get ready he would need some decorations wanting to surprise Solaris with today.

“I have so much planned, I need to find so many things for tonight. Solaris is going to be so blown away with what I come up with” he growled with excitement as he began to walk down a pathway that veered from their cave, as Jupiter walked around he picked up various flowers. As he carried them around he hummed to himself, stopping every few steps picking more and more, once he had found all he needed he headed back to the cave placing it all down on the ground.

“Now where to start I must be quick, it has to look perfect” Jupiter had decided to change his plans , not having a party but to make a cute nightly dinner for the two of them. Jupiter moved around placing the flowers and some nice pebbles he had found some more as he walked around, checking in on Solaris who was still fast asleep leaving Juptier with a smile as he continued to do what he was doing.

“He is going to love this, after all my hard work”Jupiter said cheerfully to himself as he set up an eating area for them with some colorful flags he had stashed away when they went out foraging and hunting that he had found. Stepping back to look at his progress, letting out a content sigh, it was getting closer and closer to dinner time but he had much more to get done by then.

Solaris and Juptier loved celebrating during this time of the season as it was pride month which was always nice for them, and celebrating with other friends was another thing the two loved to do but this year was different they would spend it together just with them. It was now time to set up a nice dinner for the two of them as Jupiter had stored some meal stuff away for special events. With one final step back Jupiter smiled and looked over his work the area outside of their cave was now all decorated and ready for Solaris to see.

“I sure hope he likes it! And look at those fireflies they are glowing the correct colors like I had hoped” Jupiter said as it was now time to go get Solaris from his nap and celebrate, with that the bright acro headed back to their cave and called out for Solaris playfully.

“Solaris! It’s time to get up, I have a surprise for you” Jupiter said as he called out while waiting for Solaris to come out “Oh and close your eyes!” he added as he smiled seeing Solaris come out sleepy but with his eyes closed and at the ready.

“What did you do Jupiter now, you didn’t bring another baby herbivore home did you?” He said, chuckling as he followed Jupiters voice who helped him walk towards the area that Jupiter had decorated. With one stop Solaris waited for the que to open his eyes as he felt Jupiter leaning on him but feeling him step away.

“ Okay ready! Open your eyes Solaris” Jupiter said as he bowed towards Solaris who’s jaw dropped at the decorating and meal Jupiter had done all day “Happy pride my partner in crime! I hope it looks good. I worked on it all day!” he added awaiting a reaction from Solaris who now was smiling and walking over to him.

“OH Jupiter I love it! , look at all the fireflies and good food you put out, this must have been such hard work” he said walking up to him as he licked and nuzzled his face.

“ I just wanted us to celebrate this year, instead of those big parties we always go to. I thought we could just celebrate special this year” he said, nuzzling Solaris back with a smile and chuckle.

“This is so special. I love it Jupiter. Let's go sit down and enjoy it! And happy pride my love” Solaris said as he smiled at the two walking into the area and sitting down as they enjoyed the food and watched as the sun went down, all cuddled up with one another. This pride was definitely more special since Jupiter went all out and he was happy that he was able to celebrate and enjoy it with Solaris.
