The waves from the ocean crashed against the shore as the sound of a large lumbering figure made its way across an abandoned pool platform with her tail dragging across the ground, her scales scraping as she went. The pool behind her was full of algae and untreated water, the large sucho being Lady who made her turf near the seaside but today Lady had heard stories of a new type of shark that had come to the island and it had piqued her interest. A low rumbling left her throat as her black pupils scanned the water as the tide came in and out , with the sand now in the sucho’s feet she headed towards the tide sniffing the air.

“Now where are those pesky new Hammerheads?” she grumbled to herself as her tail moved behind her as she lumbered through the sand. The stories and sightings of the new sharks coming from the other islands due to the hot weather from the summer, the old female knew that sharks had their own danger but being new they held a whole new danger level so she had to be careful.

“ Well time to go fish one of those big guys out!” she snapped her jaws with a grin across them before entering the ocean in the swallow tide pools. Lady wanted to study one of them up close if she could find one. Living so close to the seaside she always wanted to know what type of wildlife was new out in her domain.

Finally getting into the water Lady looked around sniffing the air as she made her way carefully through the tide pools but not seeing anything new or shark like, her search wasn’t going too well which annoyed the large female sucho but she did have an idea coming into her head that could help lure them out.

“Hmm maybe some chum would help get these little apex predators out” Lady said to herself as she was now looking for some fish to use as chum for the water, with her large jaws she snagged some fish from the tide pool’s that couldn’t escape fast enough from the large fisher dinosaur. With the fish now in her jaws, Lady headed towards the deeper water of the ocean from the tide pools and crushed the fish in her jaws as the bits fell into the water with the smell of blood now in the air.

“This should do, Now we just wait” she growled with a smile followed by a chuckle from her, living by the seaside required patience and the old sucho was really good at it when she wanted something for herself. As she waited the sound of splashing caught her attention as the grin once returned across her jaws , the chum was working and the hammerheads were zoning in on the area.

As more splashing came about the fin’s of the hammerhead sharks started to breach the water below where Lady was sitting on the tide pool rocks just before the deeper water. Her eyes were wide as she watched them swim around eating the chum, they were much bigger than the normal reef sharks she had seen daily the large sucho now fascinated.

“ Aren’t you guys big! Enjoying the chum I see” Lady said as she watched looking for one to pick up for studying , it needed to be a prime subject not just any hammerhead shark. “Now too pick one of you to come with me” she said tilting her head as she studied over them trying to pick the perfect one. With a quick decision finally made the large female sucho lunged her jaws into the water picking up a medium sized hammerhead shark as she quickly left the tide pools and was now back onto the sand lumbering as quickly as she could.

As she lumbered through the sand with control of the shark in her jaws who was flopping around unhappy about the situation it was in, Lady making her way about onto the pool deck she tossed the hammerhead into a smaller pool that was used as a hot-tub at one point but now as just filled with water from the various storms.

“Here you go you little feisty bugger” Lady said looking down at the shark who was now exploring the new area it was in, with a large thud Lady sat down on the pool deck her tail hanging just out of reach of the hammerhead. She had gotten her test subject and now would study it for hours as she wanted to really get to know the hammerheads if they were to come to her seaside frequently.

“Maybe you will make a good pet” Lady said letting out one last chuckle from her jaws, basking in the sun admiring her new addition to her domain.
