Get out alive

The next time that passed was peaceful. There was knowledge of a rival pack that was in their territory, which this pack had managed to scare them away and keep them at bay as much as possible. One winter morning where the fog covered everything they were ambushed. The others had discovered their cave in the middle of the forest where they had their nest. Each one focused on wanting to keep them away from the weaker ones but still failed in that. John had grown, but he didn't have enough experience to face other Cryolophosaurus, and even less with one of the most bloodthirsty. In the blink of an eye he was the victim of a precise blow that knocked him out of combat, leaving only the minimum spark of hope that everyone, especially that little brother he swore to protect, is well and safe.
