Growing up as a small hatchling, Moxies family life couldn't be called the best. The daughter of a trained carno killer, and a mother who could painfully easily described as an aggressive bully, there was plenty of pressure on Moxie to grow up just as fierce and aggressive as her family. Perhaps this method of parenting worked on her siblings, however there is something to be said about the boiling water that hardens the egg, is the same water that softens the potato. Moxie would be left with insecurities, anxiety, and the need to submit and please everyone she came across, for better or worse, in hopes they would see her as harmless, and leave her be. Confrontation just isn't in her nature.

Due to her turbulent upbringing and home life, Moxie often sought to explore the island about her alone. At least that way she could be away from the stress of her family, and so she wouldn't have to be the burden se often felt she was. Her travels take her far and wide across both Isla Kela and Isla Pera, exploring areas that've been long since lost to an ancient race of creatures that once called these lands home. Moxie can't help but wonder what happened to them.
