The Brood Mother

Banda is a mother first and foremost, adopting all manner of hatchlings from across the isles who have no parents of their own; she takes them under her wing and raises them with love and care, and they in turn love her as well. She is fiercely protective of her wards whether adopted or related by blood, and a kind figure who is very understanding of the thoughts and plights of hatchlings. If she is not fastidiously cleaning her nest and territory, she is often found playing or cuddling with her charges.
