2205: Hebi

Personality Description: Hebi's egg was found in an abandoned nest by Mira soon after the pine fires. mira owed poggle a blood debt at the time as payment for her staying with him and taktak, and she enlisted the help of a friendly shuno to bring the egg up the mountain to him. mira left the egg and yeeted, and poggle and taktak managed to keep their wits about them for long enough to take care of the egg until it hatched.

Hebi grows up sheltered both literally and figurativly in the bunker, but very smart. she watches her adopted parent's dealings with the travellers in the pass, and soon helps out with the business. she and taktak are very similar in that they can talk for hours without stopping, but sometimes Hebi has bouts of silence where she recluses into the bunker, unwilling to speak to anyone. she and poggle had a rough and tumble bond more akin to siblings than parent and child, but they get along excellently.

Hebi is more of a ask questions first, shoot later kind of personality, and while she does like to talk before fighting, she has no preference over either, and her willingness to talk first is more out of a mentality of 'what can you give me' than an actual reluctance to fight. if attacking something or someone will gain her more in the long run, you best be running.


Physical Description:  her tongue is very long and thin. she herself is also very slender, and moves like a whipcord, lashing out at prey or attackers with the speed of a raptor despite being a very large anteo overall, taller and longer than most of her species. where poggle is pudgy and soft, she retains muscle definition and looks the part of a strong adult anteo. narrow face with heavy jaw muscles. her skin is soft and almost shiny.

Animal inspiration: ball python
