2378: Persephone

Personality Description: Sweet, gentle, and kind, Persephone will do anything she can for anyone she can. Sadly, though, because of her black and white markings, her parents panicked when she hatched and claimed she was cursed. They left the first chance they got, leaving her alone with no more than her name to bear; Persephone, meaning “bringer of death.” Because of this name, she has incredibly low self-esteem and will often disregard and abandon her own needs, especially in favor of helping others. She is rather shy when by herself and/or surrounded by strangers, and can be skittish. She loves babies, though, and has been known to take in any stray herbivorous hatchlings, as well as the occasional omnivore or even small carnivores, so long as they keep their teeth to themselves. She enjoys wading and swimming in freshwater, and water plants are some of her favorite things to graze on. She is a very peaceful Parasaurolophus.

Physical Description: while short, most of her height is in her legs, as they are long and graceful. She is very long, though mainly in her tail. Her feathers are very soft and downy, as well as pretty thick, making her look rounder when all dry and fluffy. Beneath those feathers, though, she is lean and quite small in build, though strong enough to defend babies if need be, and incredibly fast and sure-footed.
