He seems to expect bullying and majorly avoids others just in case that's the way things would pan out. He's kind to others, but visibly nervous when confronted with an unfamiliar individual. He's easily embarrassed, but thankfully for him, nobody should know due to his aversion. A lonely hopeless romantic
