Personality

Watcher is one of the silent types preferring to show with actions over sounds, rarely grunting when she is upset or angry. She doesn't get upset often, however, she does spook easily and usually will freeze in place if she spots danger before charging off between the trees. She feels safest hidden deep within the cover or between clearings of trees, where she has a sort of "barrier" surrounding her. Having this sort of safety net gives her much comfort and it's where she feels the most at home.

Should Watcher ever charge something, she'd hold her head up at a sort of awkward angle, looking more frightened than angry as she barrels forward and hopes her horn does most of the work. She has only ever had to charge a mere couple times in her life, and she would prefer to resort to anything else first at all costs.

When with their herd/pack:

Unlike her parents, Watcher becomes anxious easily and does poorly in social situations. This extends to even her herdmates of whom she has known for most of her life after being brought to them. Watcher seems to never truly "open up" to others, but would rather insist on scouting for the herd's safety instead. This way, she won't have to fret over socializing much while also keeping an eye out for her friends, thanks to her camouflage.

Physical Description

Watcher is a green Styracosaurus with a thick, somewhat poofy coat of feathers that resemble that of the foliage found in the forest. Her shades of green cause her to perfectly blend into her surroundings, except for her vibrant pale yellow eyes. Her eyes are generally what gives her away when attempting to hide, but she's completely unaware of it.

Compared to other Styracosaurus, Watcher has an oddly shaped nose horn and crest. Her nose horn is angled far forward, which means she doesn't need to tilt her head as far forward to effectively charge. The upper part of her crest where the three pairs of horns are seated is also ever so slightly angled upward, but it's not quite as noticeable.

Design Notes: Her keratin is the same color as her dorsal stripe, and have a soft grayish airbrush towards the tips. Her mouth is slightly yellow.

Backstory

Watcher originally was introduced to the Lads herd as the littlest hatchling being carried in by Koma, who nearly had nibbled on her sleeping form while looking for her lunch.
