3230: Venango

Personality: Adaptable and diplomatic, Venango is a lot like water. He can be any flow of emotions and character, a steady friend to rely on, a terrifying torrent of destruction, a spring to offer life, a pool for enjoyment..it goes on. Overall he is a very friendly Suchomimus who just wants to enjoy the day and you really don't want to ruin that. It might be the day where he just decides it's better not to fight, or it could be the day where you'd wish you didn't pick it. Venango acts a good mediator and a watchful eye to have around. He loves hatchlings and anything small and cute.

Physical Description: Venango is the average size for a Suchomimus if not slightly larger than your average and has a slim build with a strong and long tail.  He has a smooth body with sharp spikes that jut from his neck, back and the tip of his tail. Venango has a black frame, with an off-white face, a deep blue-grey dimorphic marking around his eyes in the shape of tear drops and then his markings transition into a pattern of alternating bands of black and dark blue. He has off-white forearms and black claws. The bands extend down his legs where he has off-white patches and black feet. Continuing down the tail the bands alternate with an added color until they end with an off-white patch. Venango has dark blue eyes and a blue mouth and tongue.

Story: Some have come to think that Venango was made from water itself instead of being born from an egg like every other Suchomimus is assumed to have been born on the islands. No one really knows where Venango comes from, and no one really remembers watching him grow up or growing up with him. He has just... been around.. that steady presence that appears now and then. Venango himself even hardly remembers what his childhood was like, as normal as it might have been. For as long as he's remembered he loves to swim and be in the water, the Sucho hardly ever leaves it.. only coming on land to accomplish tasks set out for him or to move to isolated locations. 

In the present Venango is part of a loose network of dinosaurs throughout the island that make it their job to take care of hatchlings, whether this means raising the hatchling themselves or finding a home for the hatchling. It doesn't matter the species, if they're young and in need then they can find a friend with Venango and the core members of this network.. 3 other Suchomimus located on other parts of Isla Pera. Venango can be found usually in the southeast part of the island where there is forest and coast, along with the highlands which tend to keep wet and just the way he likes things. Though, Venango is close friends with one of the other Suchos in the hatchling group, a black and red female, who he will visit in the ashlands occassionally.
