Small, fuzzy, and full of energy. Her feathers are primarily down and she is incredibly soft. She can get cold very easily if her feathers are wet for an extended period of time.
Notable Traits: Her crest is hardly noticeable, but when she is especially excited, there is the smallest ridge of downy feathers along the top of her head that can be seen.
Personality
Chalcy is extremely affectionate towards her family - as well as the other members of the bask, who she also sees as family. She really doesn't understand why there are some raptors that she can be friends with and others that she must never talk to. When she's tired she enjoys cozying up with just about anyone that will let her - and even those that are a bit more grumpy.
Most of the time, though, she is a tiny ball of energy. She loves playing and racing around bask territory at top speeds, running away from anyone that will chase her. If she's not playing chase, she's practicing her pouncing, which does unfortunately mean that there are a lot of tails in danger of being attacked.
History & Relations
Chalcedony is just starting out her young life! She hatched in the Shipyard bask not long before her mother, Signe, would move on again. Chalcy would begin her life sticking close to her father, Splatterball. Very rapidly, though, an energetic personality began to develop and she absolutely doted on her very large, very strange family. Her sister Azurite can be a bit cross sometimes, and Chalcy doesn't quite understand Azurite's anger towards the other raptors that live around the Shipyard, but that's okay. She loves her anyway, and Azurite seems to love her too.
Most of all, she favoured the company of older brother, Malachite, but Zaca and Katjaa caught her attention as well. She greatly enjoys chasing after them whenever they try to sneak away from the bask, following them on their grand adventures - just like her mom!
