Quiet, solitary, and prone to simply walking away from situations she doesn't like, one could easily get the impression that Haize is shy and timid.  This would be a mistake.  That quiet exterior hides a fierce independenece, and a complete unwillingness to let others dictate what she can do.  It just so happens that she often chooses not to waste her time on arguments or confrontations that she sees nothing to be gained from, is all.  Still, while she prefers her solitude, that doesn't mean she dislikes company, and will welcome a friendly face once she's gotten to know someone.
