Mako was born as a twin with his sister Lake. in the lore he is nonbinary/trans dude. Mako was always a kind of scaredy cat, but he decided he's going to prove to everyone that he has confidence by going down into the labs as an adult. he managed to reach down at Zone D and narrowly escaped Nidhogg by being small and fitting into tight spaces. one side affect of this is that he is now irradiated and is sick often....
