544: Persephone

Persephone comes across as aloof. She’s a wanderer with no ties to any one place, and few ties to anyone else. However, she would like to think herself a travelling broodmother of sorts, and tends to pick up all sorts of strays, from raptors to suchos to carnos (most recently, a fluffy carno named Mincemeat). She likes to care for others, but she does not allow them to cling longer than they must, and for that reason she tries to keep herself at arm’s length- close enough to give the child a healthy upbringing, but distant enough that, when they inevitably go off on their own, her heart will not be broken.

Hades is her mate, although they rarely travel together.
