The recent seismic activity has disrupted the lockdown protocol that the Alpha Labs have been under since the fall of mankind. The gateway to Alpha Labs has finally been opened… from within.
When the lockdown protocol was shut off and the gate opened, the effects spread across Isla Pera.
Buildings and machines that hadn’t been powered in decades came to life. Much of the ancient technology was not in good shape, and a resurgence of power has led to disastrous effects.
Fires break out from sparking electricity. Refuse fills rivers and beaches as damaged machines stir up the water and release toxins. Sickness spreads.
In some places, the toxins spread to the air and soil, slowly sickening the environment. All across the island, lights flicker and machines whir. Electric fences kick into effect.
The island is plunged into sudden, frightening calamity.
From behind the massive Alpha Labs door comes a flurry of teeth and movement - creatures emerge from their subterranean tomb, tasting the fresh night air for the first time
The Albertosaurus are too preoccupied with their freedom to pay you any mind. The opened door looms, beckoning you closer.
Entering the depths for the first time, you discover Zone A: the Dormitories and the Vehicle Bay.
Chapter 1 contains two separate event prompts for exploration, as well as the introduction of new a Story prompt.
Story prompts differ in that they are one-time quests that progress the event story, must be completed in sequential order, and contain unique, guarenteed rewards.
