Greetings Islanders! 

It’s that time; Primeval Age is OPEN!  It’s been a long time coming, and this process has taken a bit longer than anticipated but we are very excited to be relaunching Primeval Age on our new website!  We appreciate all of the patience and understanding from you guys as we go through this new phase of Primeval Age!  This is going to be quite a long news post, so hang tight!
  Before you get started there are a few things to keep note of!  

PLEASE READ THIS NEWS POST BEFORE USING THE SITE!

The website is not fully functional yet. 

This process has and will continue to be a lengthy and expensive process, but we are committed to it as the future of groups on DeviantART has us all quaking in our boots.  This being said, it will take some time to get all of the previous Primeval Age features working properly on the new website!  Please be patient as we work diligently with our coder to get all of these up and running for you all!  Below you can find a list of areas/mechanics and their status!

Misc Things To Note:
-Item Functionality (WORK IN PROGRESS - Please do not attempt to use items as they have no coded function as of right now!  This is high up on our priority list!)
-Account Deactivation/Deletion (WORK IN PROGRESS - Deleting/Deactivating an account right now could potentially break a lot of things.)
-Stats and Leveling (WORK IN PROGRESS - Adding levels/stats may break things as they are currently!)
-Game information/Guides/Rules/Etc (WORK IN PROGRESS - Will be added to the website at a later date; awaiting formatting coding)

Updates/Changes

Discord Rules:
-Pictures of minors, body parts that are normally covered by clothing, as well as pictures of body parts that others may find sexual (ie: Feet, torsos, backs, ect) will not be permitted to be posted.  This includes pictures of people in revealing clothing (Bikinis, very short crop-tops/shorts, etc)

Questing/Event/Ageing/Monthly:
-A quest that is denied due to not meeting proper requirements/standards will now be removed from the queue and will have to be completely resubmitted to be re-rolled.
-Once EXP/Stats/Leveling is complete, it will all be done through quest submissions.  Which means Trackers will no longer be required, although do not delete your current trackers as you may need them to claim current EXP.
-All loot will now be generated by the website itself; not hand-rolled by staff.  

Breedings and Hatchery
-We are working on a public breeding roller so you can test dinosaurs together!
-Breedings and Hatchery will now be generated by the website itself; not hand-rolled by staff.

Import Uploads
-Import uploads are now done by clicking a Geno that you own and hitting 'Submit Design'!  This being said, you must have the geno uploaded on the website in order to create the design!

Migrating Imports and Genos

You can now transfer Genos and Imports through the Claims area! (User>My Claims)  Be sure to include the following information: (Only ONE Geno/Import per claim submission)

Staff Applications

We are once again opening staff applications!  Feel free to apply in our Discord channel #Mod-Application!  We anticipate hearing from you all!  These will close on November 8th, 2022!

Things may break or not work properly!  Since this is the first time we will be opening a lot of these areas, things may be a bit buggy!  If you encounter a bug, feel free to submit a bug report under User>My Reports!  For any questions regarding the site, feel free to go to our #help channel in our Discord!
