Context: Atticus apologizes to his long lost best friend with some fresh herbs that survived the cold winter. He felt guilty for their missed childhood years, as the two of them were inseparable when they were much younger. His parents had left the valley their herd lived in, making the two part ways for many years. Now that they're young adults, Atticus immediately returned for his childhood sweetheart. But would his meager plants make up for the years lost between them? Would Evangeline forgive him?
