Context: Its a dog eat dog world out there, and every breath you take could be your last. Our juvenile Albertosaurus Crimidine is always on the look for more meals in order to grow in strength- yet the times have been tough, food has been scarce, bigger animals still trump over his small size, and small prey are no longer as filling as they once were. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and one such scenario was a run in with another theropod: Mockingbird, a still developing adolescent Suchomimus was valiantly defending its recent kill. The ashy dinosaur appeared to be starving, ribs showing even through his fuzzy feathered coat, but despite his poor physical condition he refused to back off in front of another growing theropod. This was no underestimation of Crimidines young might, but it was desperation. For far too long had this adolescent Suchomimus failed hunts due to his eye catching coat, or because bigger carnivores threatened him- he was ready to defend his territory and food at any cost. With this in mind, Crimidine was hesitant to test the others patience, and despite the tempting meal he knew it was a fight he might not recover from- walking past Mockingbird hesitantly and carefully.
