The two paras learned how to use each other's weaknesses as strengths - Rei's white pelt did nothing to camoflague him, however, it worked well as a lure for predators. Seri, being much larger now, was an imposing threat. With Rei taking aggro, Seri was able to rush up and tackle opponents, impaling them on his thorns
