"GHOST RANCH
Once upon a time on Isla Pera there was a thriving cattle farm serving the limited population of humans on the island (Thank you Morpheus!), full of 200 head or so of stock and that wasn't counting their other animals like horses and chickens and the people! This farm supplied both beef and dairy alike, known for their picturesque longhorns and their almost postcard looking property. One fateful day however there was a great rumbling. The farm had grown too comfortable living in the shadow of one of Isla Pera's fantastic volcanoes, and while having never before been in danger of any sort of eruption, lava flow or gassing... that didn't stop a great black mass from flowing down the hill and completely wiping it off the face of the map. Set upon by a great lahar, what didn't perish immediately was left to suffer and die, stuck in the 4-5 feet of mud and ash and unable to move. Unable to eat. Unable to drink. Unable to breathe. The lahar was only the beginning for this once beautiful farmstead, once the volcano set upon full eruption some time later, ashfall came about and buried the remnants in a thick blanket of the stuff and forever preserving the property in it's grim state.
The Dinosaurs that visit here don't know that story, they don't know the history of a once loved and worked farm. The dinosaurs that visit here only know of the ashen remains of it's inhabitants, forever resting here just as unappealing and sullen as the minerals they've become fused with. Weather over the years has washed the buildings off a bit, but the inhabitants will never be clean and alive again. It can be a bit unnerving to travel through here for some, as there is little life to be found. Just a muddy, rocky, graveyard. "
