The tapejaras have become the eyes in the sky on their short stay on the island and this pair has spotted a scar on the earth to the south west side of the isand. It releases fumes every so often, big, dense clouds that smell like decay.
It seems as though it's unable to stop bleeding the hot red insides of the earth, letting out grumbles of discomfort that can even shake the whole island.
All dinosaurs try to avoid this area. However, for those who must fly over it, it's known as the Great Scar it has originated plenty of stories about what kind of animal could put a wound like that on their beloved island, tales that get shared between those who populate the winds up above.
