Farrux takes Adhara around the pack to explain a bit of the pack life to her; and that as a female, she must either overthrow the matriarch, Eydís, or leave once she becomes an adult. In the process, they stumble into Sorin gifting Eydís some rabbits from his hunt to try and impress her. Farrux uses this as a teaching moment to explain how the males of the pack spend the year trying to impress the matriarch in the hopes she choses them as her partner that mating season.
