Tailing his brother through the maple forest, Blackbeard's (last panel) attention was admittedly elsewhere than helping to gather nesting material. Lost in his thoughts, Blackbeard absentmindedly glided closer to the beautiful leaves, remembering how he and Silvercrest used to play in the fallen autumn leaves back when they were still only flightless chicks. With a large smile spread across his beak, Blackbeard allowed the brilliantly warm leaves, glowing against his dark feathers, warm his heart.
