Racing the ceaseless hunger of the inferno just behind her was proving to be more difficult of a task than she could've hoped. Moxie (right panel) didn't dare to look back at the raging wildfire, she didn't have to as she could feel its heat like hot breath against the back of her neck. Thick black smoke made it difficult to see much of anything, and burned her lungs with each breath she took, yet she pushed on. She didn't meet her end to an abusive family, nor a cult, she sure as hell wasn't about to let it be a fire that laid claim to a life she just begun to truly live.
