“M-mom!!” Chip cried out in a panic. Quickly, the young para wrapped his hooves around the unstable log, trying to avoid falling any further.
Turning quickly on her heels, the look of worry that’d etched onto her features relaxed.
“Everything is okay dearie,” Kay-Tee gently cooed as she placed a hoof onto the log, “Put your hind hooves down.”
“But I’ll fall!” Chip squeaked out in return, only clinging tighter to the log.
Stepping down off the small cliff, Kay-Tee walked up beside her son and gave him a reassuring lick.
Nervously first looking at his mom, then at the ground, Chip realized in embarrassment the drop wasn’t anywhere as big as he thought.
“Oh…”
