When he was still very young, Casper was confined to the shallows so that he'd have an easier time getting around, reaching the surface, and not risk being bullied by other, larger aristos - not that Crab would let anyone bully his child. It didn't lead to a lot of new experiences, but every now and then, a surprise. One fell from the sky, and erupting from the cloud of bubbles was one of the strangest aristos that Casper had ever seen. Not an aristo, evidently, but a tapejara, and one that had quite a bit of chattering to do once he swam back up to the surface. Casper was enthralled, but Crab wasn't so sure. Tapejaras could be terrible pests and pick on the soft hides of young aristos if they were hungry enough...
