Oswlad (second panel) had always felt right at home at Hawthorne Lake. Even as he and his father migrated around to follow the herds during winter, every time they came back to that particular lake Oswald felt as thought it was calling his name. Perhaps it was no surprise when the sucho eventually made his home among the reeds once he was old enough to leave the safety of his fathers side. It was a cozy little spot, the cattails that stood tall around him were enough to provide shelter from any prying eyes. They even provided just a nice decoration overall outside of any usefuless they may have. Though, one thing still bugged the male: Oswald never could figure out why folks began to call him Duck more often than his true name... Least not until one of the handful of mallards who made their home at the same lake during the summers swam past his reflection. Oh.
