Color

  • This marking can be darker or lighter than base.
  • When Het, must be one solid color
  • When Hom, may present as filled bands OR may be two-toned with a gradient, but cannot be both
-- The additional color and direction of the gradient can differ between parts.
  • Can be any natural color.
  • Can be affected by color modifiers.

Examples

Het. Banded separating the marking in two different chunks/sections.

Hom Banded presenting filled bands and daubs on the snout and legs.

Het. Banded with branching and irregular bands and daubs

Incorrect due to the holes in the bands, daubs presenting in places other than the limbs/face, trailing spots, and extremely large bands on the feet

Incorrect due to the bands not all being filled, or some only having a second color on one side. The band across the face is also too large.
