Isla Kela is a volcanic island located in the Pacific Ocean, once known for its beautiful beaches and coral reefs. The majority of the island is untouched by humans thanks to Morpheus, a biological research corporation which sponsored efforts to turn the island's wilds into restricted areas to protect wildlife and conduct ecological studies.

The island has three long-dormant shield volcanoes and can be divided into six primary regions. Morpheus has one major facility on Isla Kela.
