Inventory Management

Rewards are added to the inventory of the focus dinosaur's owner

Each focus dinosaur has their rewards rolled independently. Then, all rewards are added directly to their owner's inventory for items, and bank for currencies. If you are leasing a dinosaur from another user, they will need to manually transfer the rewards to you after the quest is approved.

In the past, rewards went directly to the focus dinosaur's inventory. However, shops and crafting require items and currencies from your profile, not your dinosaur's! If you had a quest rolled before rewards were updated to go to the owner's inventory, they will need to be transferred to your inventory and bank. You can find your dinosaur's inventory and bank on their profile, near the top of the left sidebar under the 'Character' section.

To transfer items:
  • In their inventory, find items you want to transfer and click them
  • Tick the stack source(s) and select the quantity from the drop-down
  • Press the 'Transfer' button under 'Transfer Item'
To transfer currencies:
  • In their bank, select take from character
  • Select the currency you want to transfer
  • Enter the quantity, must be typed in manually
  • Press the 'Transfer' button

Prompt-Specific Rewards

Certain materials and food items drop from specific prompts! This tends to be items used in crafting recipes, to help make them more obtainable, but also includes other items that fit the theme of the prompt.

  • Normal quests drop specific food, materials and rarely backgrounds; these vary based on the prompt.
  • Seasonal Quests drop season-related materials; these do not vary between prompts of the same season.
-- Seasonal Quests have boosted seasonal currency rates compared to normal quests
  • Events usually have increased chances to drop event-related items.

A list of prompts and their specific rewards can be found below.
The Seasonal tab also includes the shop stock for that season, these do not drop from quests and must be purchased with seasonal currency.

Item Buffs

There are several items that can be used to increase quest rewards! All buff items are single use, including companions, and are attached in the add-ons section of a quest submission form. Most target specific categories of rewards. However, most of these items are currently non-functional and have been made temporarily unobtainable as their coding is not yet complete. Do not attach non-functional items to quests as they will be consumed with no effect. You can submit a claim to have a non-functional item refunded if you attached it to a quest.

As these items have not been coded yet, it is possible that their use may change if the code can not support them.

Aging Quests

86-image.png

Growth Serum
Can only be applied to Aging Quests! When applied, it boosts a dinosaur's growth and allows them to skip a growth stage. A maximum of two can be used on one dinosaur, meaning at least one Aging Quest must be completed normally. Can be obtained from some events.

  • Attaching one to a hatchling dinosaur doing their first quest skips them to adolescent
-- Attaching two in one submission skips them to adult
  • Attaching one to a juvenile dinosaur doing their second quest skips them to adult
  • Can be used via a claim for adolescent dinosaurs who have done two quests already to skip them to adult
  • If multiple dinosaurs are being aged together, serum is one use per dinosaur
-- Three dinosaurs skipping a growth stage needs three serums
-- Specify which dinosaurs are skipping a growth stage in submission comments
